The Mindanao conflicts in the Philippines have resulted in increased numbers of orphans and vulnerable children. An overlooked aspect to these childrens’ well being is the lack of access to education during and after the conflict. This project helped improve access to education for children and orphans by supporting the enrolment of 200 children into school, providing them with school kits, providing support to teachers in the form of “teaching kits” and the provision of supplementary materials, as well as performing minor classroom repairs/refurbishments.
