Approximately 45% of Nigeria’s population is below the age of 15, and there are more than 8.7 million children out of school. This project aimed to improve access to education, including tackling the disruption to schooling during the COVID-19 pandemic. Home-based learning opportunities were provided through remote-learning via radio, television and e-platforms. Furthermore, educators were provided with training courses to refresh their teaching skills.
